City Museum Wallride

I was in the city today and noticed this lovely little wallride, i am not sure how long it has been there, but looks like skaters have been hitting it. Plan to hit it sometime soon and get some good photos, if anyone has ridden it already and especially if you have snapshots please email me.

Location: Corner of Spring Street and Collins Street in Melbs CBD, East side.

24Seven is in Australia!

Hooray! Have been holding off announcing anything until it actually arrived. But XXIV will be distributing 24Seven products within Australia! Above in the pic is our demo bike (AKA Llew's bike) running 24seven Dark Angel frame, Suicide Bar and Stem, Seatpost and Clamp, 88 Dlux Saddle and Slack Pedals. It is looking very stealth and very mean!

It is also running Rockshox Pike 409s, Tuffneck Hubs laced with DT onto Atomlab rims, Token steel headset and stopping power is provided by Avid Juicy 7s.

It was quickly put togethor in a bid for Llew to make it to his plane, he is flying to Tassie tonight for the nationals round. So if you see this puppy kicking around, go and ask Llew for a ride and basic prices!

More news about 24Seven soon!

Check out the product range! - http://www.xxiv.com.au/imports/

Rider's Rigs

We are looking for some reader's pimping rigs to put up on the site. We want to do a weekly / monthly article on one rider's rig (depending on the response). So if you want to get your rig up on XXIV, then send me an email at ken@xxiv.com.au along with a high-res photo of it and we will interview you on your rig, why you choose the components you did and what exactly you use it for.

Hope to some of your stylin' bikes in my inbox soon!

Mountain Cycle's New "Slopestyle" Bike

mcslopestyle.jpg

Mountain Cycle is working on a "slopestyle" bike (think crankworx, slopestyle, monster park events). It looks like it is going to be one fun ride, 100mm of travel in the rear (4 inches) and designed for 4-6" single crown forks this puppy is entirely designed for massive jumps that you may feel the need to tail-whip or bar spin over.

We will be keeping our eyes open for news on this bike, which is yet to be named.
