XXIV Philosophy
We saw a distinct lack of quality specialised jump, street and 4x components in the Australian market. So one day we stopped complaining to each other about it and we put our money where our mouth was and started to import the brands that we really admired and were yet to be available on our shores.
Together with that we also had disgruntled feelings towards the current main importers and distributors currently as they often didn't represent their brands well, never imported the majority of their range and rarely had spares. It is so annoying when you break a part on something that has been designed to be replaced only to find out that the distributor doesn't stock the spares for it. Our other main gripe with them was the lack of support for the sport of Mountain Biking, in our case specifically dirt jumping and street. It seems everyone is out to make some coin from a sub-market and not put anything back into the sport. We wanted to do something about this.
We aim to be the most prominent distributor showing real support to the industry. We don't mean just throwing some cash into the prize pool of a race when we find out there are lots of entrants, we mean organising and creating events. Unfortunately because we are so small we can't throw around large amounts of cash like the big guys. But we will input to the industry by running new and different events and also support clubs in their bid to do so.
