Intense)are definitely are great riding shoe. But more suited to DH racing in my opinion, soft soles so they grip ALOT. When DJing or riding urban you want a grippy shoe but something you can take off the pedals if you want. The FiveTens are almost like being clipped in, but still great shoes for their purpose. Personally i reckon that they don't look as great as skate shoes, but by looking at them they look like they would grip to any pedal out there.
