Riverside Skate Park
Located in the Alexandra Gardens on Boathouse Drive, on the southern side of the Yarra, just past the boatsheds. Access is via Pettycoat Lane. Food is supplied from the café, with first aid. The park offers 2 concrete banks, table top, 2 small doubles and a steaper box with a few blocks and rails. On one end there’s a bank, quarter, another bank and then another quarter. Due to the convenience of Riverside, it means that the park can be very busy during the days, especially during school holidays. It’s recommended that MTB riders should ride at night.

This one of the best skatepark around. The box need the toilets is perfect for learning new tricks and the whole area is cleaned daily and swept to keep it clear and ready to ride. It is open to riders after 7.30pm and if you go during the day or when it’s raining ask the dudes in the kiosk if you can ride, most of the time it will be alright until the masses of skaters come back.
