NWD 6 Launch

nwd6.jpg

We went to the NWD 6 launch last night, great night! Thanks for VicMTB for putting it on and shouting us a few beers!!

The movie was great, alot of new tricks and innovative stuff. The movie is definitely more freeride these days, i don’t recall any downhill racing and Steve Peat and Nathan Rennie were not even in it from memory. Alot of people were saying that NWD 5 was better, but i am yet to decide. I will make an informed decision when we receive our review copy and do the full review on it (keep checking us out for it).

Before the launch we made a visit to that red wall ride on the steps of the treasury. We hit it several times, was alot more stable than i initially thought and gripped up well (with holy rollers) provided you hit it at the right angle. Which i didn’t one time, nice bruise on my thigh for that mistake!

Stay tuned for the NWD 6 review and a photo shoot of that wallride, unfortunately we didn’t get any snaps.

    Hey fouronesix,

At the moment it is a bit Melbourne focused as I am from Melbourne and I am writing most of the content.

But I am always looking for more writers if you are interested or know anyone who is to write up the cool spots to ride in Sydney, or any events happening.

We are more than happy to help you get some events running as well, so give me a bell and we will see what we can arrange.

    Cheers,

    Ken
