Banshee Scythe - Freeride / DH
We are pleased to introduce the Banshee Scythe, Banshee’s new Freeride / DH bike for 2008. This bike replaces both the Chaparral and the Scream by combining the best of both worlds and then improving on them ten fold. Now using custom hydro-formed, triple butted tubing this frameset is lighter than the Chaparral yet Stronger than the Scream. The travel has been set at 7 or 8″ with an adjustable shock mount which will alter the BB height and Angles to suit either faster DH or Slower FR.
The shock mounting has also changed, this allows for an uninterrupted seat tube which will allow you to raise the seat and pedal up hill as well as down. It has also allowed Banshee to increase the shock length which puts less stress on the frame and seals as well as providing more responsive suspension.
